Shaiwal graduated from Symbiosis Law College, Pune University, India and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 2003. He holds a Masters’ in the field of Commercial Law from Cardiff University, United Kingdom (UK) and is also registered as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales.
Right from the beginning of his professional career in 2004, he was involved in various litigation and arbitration matters including, representing clients in India’s biggest arbitration matters, till date. He has vast experience in litigation, bi-lateral investment treaty arbitrations, domestic and international commercial arbitrations.
He also provides consultancy services to Cairn India Limited, an oil and gas conglomerate in India and is the counsel for a number of private and public sector undertakings including, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Limited (IRCTC), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC).
His teams’ litigation and arbitration practice encompasses investment as well as all aspects of commercial disputes including maritime, energy, construction and corporate.
